THE UGLY, AND THE UGLIERMike LappMike is the tallest one in the troupe with two kick-ass pairs of footwear. Last seen in Broadway's "The Lion King"...in Row: P Seat: 16. Past Credits Include: Scarecrow "The Wizard of Oz", Rooster "Annie", Eugene "Grease", Don Bother "The Senator Wore Pantyhose", Howard "The Dining Room", Pawnee Bill "Annie Get Your Gun", Protean "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum", "Jekyll & Hyde", "Pippin", "Pirates of Penzance", "Fiddler On The Roof", "Little Shop Of Horrors", and is a full time/touring puppeteer at the Paper Moon Puppet Theatre. Brian Cromer is a classicly trained bass-baritone under Dr. Jeff Unger. A singer of mainly Italian Arias from Mozart to Verdi, from The Marriage of Figaro to Faust. Under the German Facher system, he holds the titles of Hoherbas and Schwarzbas. His Strohbass register has been known to rattle the largest of theatres and his passagio has been heralded one of the most well blended voices around. He is very excited about being a part of Improv Riot. Bobby's a huge geek who, once he found theatre...became even more of a geek, only now on stage. His addiction grew while performing dinky roles in school shows - tapping the vein outside of rehearsals and shaking compulsively. He then moved onto doing larger and more difficult roles, as well as poetry slams to keep up his street cred. His latest addiction is improv, but at heart he's still a kid who loves writing/playing music with his guitar, and performing with my fellow "Rioters". Also, he lives at Rutgers..whatever that entails. Hailing from his mother and residing in the loveable town of Jackson, NJ, Sean Favre is a complete douche bag with lack of self-respect. He is a phony that preys upon the laughter of the ones around him to make himself feel better. He is the downfall to all things hilarious with a squeeze of lemon in the eye, salt in a paper cut, and a big slap on a sunburned back. If he ever crosses your path you should just tap him on the shoulder with aspects of engaging in conversation to take in his soft flowing pronunciations delivered in the most soothing voice. Maybe you’ll even get the taste of a personalized "Phil the Singing Deli Man" voice within your conversation with this low life. Sean is a young man with nothing to give. If I could sum up the true Sean Favre it would be this: Unfunny Prick with Extra Hair. It’s easier to let his words fall on deaf ears than let him know the truth. Past Credits Include: Protean "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum" Nick "Vulgar" Vilardi is a twisted, sick, and disturbing individual, but really a well rounded guy. His 'anything for a laugh' antics are what makes him stand out in the troupe. He'll be willing to take a slap in the face or a mouse trap to the foot just for a chuckle, and that's just the small stuff. He got his nickname from winning the game 'pick-up Lines' too many times in a row and has held the shameful crown ever since. Never having acted in any 'real' plays or theater Nick has gained his experience from amateur improv and trying to impress people in high school cafeterias. When he's not performing in improv Nick likes to break dance, draw, free style, skateboard, listen to his vast music collection, and hit on moms. Past Credits Include: "The Vagina Monologues Part 2: Under the Sheets" Deseree is proud to be an original member of Improv Riot. Deserees love of performing started at an early age when she used to imitate Michael Jackson at family functions. She was always involved in school choirs and drama clubs, but her love of the stage manifested itself when she did her first show "Hello Dolly" at Jackson Memorial High School. She is finishing up her associates degree at OCC, after which she'll transfer to a 4 year school & double major in theatre and education. She loves that she can do this with her closest friends while getting a few laughs in the process! To the Cast & Crew she has one more thing to mention..."This is what we worked for. Time to make it count, and time to prove the naysayers wrong..some more! To the fans, Thank You, but you aint seen nothing yet!" Past Credits Include: The Immpossible Years, Annie, Godspell, May The Farce Be With You, You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, Hair, Vertically Challenged, The Vagina Monologues, Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Little Shop of Horrors, also with experience in Stage Crew, Stage Managing, & Directing. Christian "X-Tian" Carrara is thrilled to be a part of Improv Riot! A graduate from Caldwell College (shhh, don't tell anyone), Christian is in love with the stage. Apart from his everyday job (and improv), Christian also writes, directs, produces, and stars in murder mysteries for his company Mr. E's Mysteries. He loves the Riot and wishes everyone good times and great laughs! His theatre credits include: Urinetown, Best Little Whore House in Texas, Jekyll and Hyde, Hair, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, May the Farce be With You, Godspell, and lots more. Holly has been a proud member of "Improv Riot" since May of 2005. She was thrilled when asked to join a fresh new group of young people mastering the skill of improvisation. Holly is very interested in pursuing a career in theatre. She is also eager and excited to see what the future of "Improv Riot" will bring in their new found home at the Cornerstone Café. Past Credits Include:"The Skin of Our Teeth", "Clue", and "Young Frankenstein" where she played the part of Frau Blucher, and musicals such as "Oklahoma", "Fiddler on the Roof", "Guys n Dolls", and "Hello Dolly" where she played as the leading role. Her most recent performance was in "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" where she played Linda Lou. Yes, his name is Justin Schilling. He's usually like two cokes in the fridge, just chilling. Yes, his life is that thrilling. He works at a shoe store and makes a killing! For just sitting around fartin and milling. Sex, yes ladies, he's willing. ...Oh, and he's 18 and into acting and filming. Past Credits include: The King and I "As a Priest/ Interpreter", Arsenic & Old Lace "Jonathon Brewster", Into the Woods "Mysterious Man", & the Master of Ceremonies for a couple of Theatre Competitions. Name: The Philly Phantom Birth Name: Unknown. Given the title "Ryan J. Barry" by his foster parents. DOB: Unknown Birthplace: Unknown Strength: 4/10 Speed: 7/10 Agility: 6/10 Intelligence: 6/10 Awkwardness: 10/10 Superhero Facts: Although his origins are unknown, Ryan has the astounding ability to teleport, which helps him return back to his home base, located at LaSalle University in Philadelphia. He lived the life of a thief, but came across Brian Cromer and was simply enchanted by his hypnotic baritone voice. He opted to leave the life of crime to become Brian’s sidekick on Improv Riot, and has sworn to never leave his side. Ryan is also immortal and a very good dancer. His hobbies include beef jerky, road trips, drunken tic tac toe and procreation. THE NUTS AND BOLTSMarc Sy-SantosMarc Sy-Santos, the sound behind the scenes, joined improv riot after the troupe realized they needed to supplement the laughs with the appropriate music both between and during playlets. Marc, a student of The School of Audio Engineering in New York is responsible for your weekly serving of song snip-its and has provided a much needed and appreciated aspect to the group's performance. Although he doesn't actually perform onstage, his knack for music selection and ability to keep people interested aids copiously in the over-all improv riot experience. |
